Outsourcing For a Major UK Publishing Company
Following a demerger the publishing company were required to find a payroll supplier and manage the transfer in short timescale.
Paris and Parks managed the contract negotiation and service level agreement discussions with the preferred supplier and also managed the data transfer, the parallel runs and initial payroll run. The project was successfully delivered on time and within budget.

Mergers and Demergers and Acquisitions
Mergers and acquisitions will invariably require the transfer of the payrolls to the main payroll function as part of the efficiency savings.
Paris and Parks have worked on several mergers and acquisitions bringing into the main payroll function the new payroll, implementing group wide processes and procedures to the new parts of the Group, ensuring that terms and conditions are understood and built into the payroll system, managing communications to employees and line managers.
Dispensations and PAYE settlement agreements have been reviewed and renegotiated as appropriate and the transfer of PAYE schemes managed.
Old systems have been decommissioned and data archived.
All projects have been successfully managed and savings realised through the transfer to the main group function even with the additional headcount required to process the additional payrolls. Compliance has also been improved.
Demergers have also been managed with the data transfers to the new supplier plus details of processes and procedures and current terms and conditions.
