COMPLIANCE AND HUMAN RESOURCES

HR Administration may be part of the Payroll function to a greater or lesser extent of part of a
Shared Services function.
Whilst Paris and Parks do not specialise in or give advice on employment law they work closely with HR Administration teams, compensation and benefits teams and HR in respect of termination payments.
HR Administration may include all processes to do with absence and the calculation of occupational and statutory payments for sickness, maternity, paternity and adoption. Additionally, the Team will need to manage the new starter and leaver process.
Paris and Parks can work with these Teams to ensure that these processes are compliant with the correct information being forwarded to Payroll for action and the correct payments calculated with instructions for the appropriate tax and NICs treatment.
Again failure to operate these processes and to make the correct payments and deductions can lead to penalties and interest as well as adverse publicity.
